    Psychological Support

Caring for a person with dementia can be demanding and emotionally draining. Behavioural changes, the progressive loss of autonomy and shifts in family relationships often give rise to feelings of overload, anxiety, guilt or sadness.

The psychological support offered by CASM provides a safe space for individual listening and accompaniment, helping caregivers better understand the disease, develop practical strategies to deal with challenging situations and manage the emotional impact of caregiving. The aim is to prevent exhaustion, strengthen personal resources and foster emotional balance.

People with dementia can also benefit from psychological support, particularly in the early stages, through strategies that help them adapt to the diagnosis, express emotions and integrate their lived experiences.
