The Outpatient Centre for Dementia Intervention - CAID is being launched: a new specialised support service for people diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment and dementia, which operates on a semi-private basis at the alza facilities.
The CAID provides individual and group therapeutic support, with the aim of promoting the maintenance of cognitive and functional abilities, as well as the well-being and quality of life of participants. The proposals include Cognitive Stimulation, Snoezelen Multisensory Therapy, Music Therapy and Art Therapy and Promoting Authonomy.
